    Schafkopf Tarock is a card game played in the German State Bavaria and some regions of Austria, as well as a variant in Berlin in Germany. Schafkopf originated in the 18th century and is one of the oldest German card games. It is played with four players, exists in many variants and takes its name from the custom of writing down the score in the form of a sheepshead.

    The Schafkopf Tarock playing cards are made by Piatnik in Austria of cardboard and have 36 playing cards with a Bavarian-suited pattern. These Schafkopf Tarock Original Piatnik have 36 cards with a classic Bavarian pattern with German Suits in a 56 mm x 100 mm size. The Skat cards are made in the playing card factory from Piatnik in Austria in the European Union and come in a tuckcase.
